Fellow Jaycees,
January has just flown by and as we get more into the year the opportunities to get involved are just popping up left and right. We wanted to give you plenty of opportunity to mark your calendars for some upcoming Jaycee events both social and community oriented.
Saturday, February 11th join us at 1pm for a tour of Triangle Brewery. Come socialize with your fellow Jaycees and enjoy free beer tasting.
Wednesday, February 22nd from 6-8pm we will be volunteering at Welcome Baby located at 721 Foster Street. We will be sorting and hanging up baby clothes for their Giving Closet that provides free children’s clothes for families in need with children ages birth to 5yrs old. |

The Durham Jaycees meet the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at 6:30 PM.
A change starting in 2012 sees the meeting on the second Tuesday being held at the R. David Thomas Hotel and Conference Center on Duke University’s West Campus. Directions to the Center can be found here. Dinner will be provided for this meeting.
Our meeting on the fourth Tuesday will be held at the Durham Main Library on Roxboro Street. Directions can be found here. After this meeting you are welcome to join your fellow Jaycees at local restaurants to continue the social aspect of the Jaycees.

There are often events going on in and around Duke's campus and the R. David Thomas Center has provided us with a parking pass in order to access their parking lot during our meetings. If you are a guest interested in visiting us, or if you are a member who seems to have misplaced your pass, please contact Ryan Webb and he will gladly email you a copy.
